Dr. M. Natalie Husarewycz, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Natalie Husarewycz is an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba, Max Rady College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry.  She completed her medical school and residency training in Psychiatry at the University of Manitoba.  She has clinical roles as a Psychiatrist with the WRHA Shared Care Program.  Dr. Husarewycz has also been providing Psychiatry services to the community of Norway House, Manitoba, through the University of Manitoba, Ongomiizwin – Health Services. 

Dr. Husarewycz’s clinical interests include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed treatments, and she has run DBT-informed Skills Training Groups since 2014.  She is also interested in the treatment of disorders related to trauma.  She has undergone training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as EEG biofeedback (neurofeedback) training as modalities to assist in the treatment of complex stress disorders.

Her current area of interest has shifted to Occupational Psychiatry and presently the majority of her work is in this area.  Dr. Husarewycz is unable to take patients at the clinic at this time.
